Week 128 – August 22nd – Hopefully the market will bounce again
I had a chat with my investment manager today, hopefully after the dreadful start to the year, the markets will bounce back again like they have before.

Hopefully history will repeat itself.

Week 127 – August 15th – When priority isn’t priority
Having been to London stadium before to watch athletics, I was sent a few emails to say I would have priority access to tickets before general release.
The priority window opened on Friday 12th to Monday 15th midday.
I didn’t do it on Friday as we were travelling back from Christchurch and left it to Monday morning. I clicked on the link in the email and nothing happened.
I had signed in, so I logged out and back in again, but nothing.
So I rang the number in the email and was told that all the priority tickets had gone.
After hanging up, I thought that was bizarre and never heard of that before. I logged in later, but where we wanted to sit, there were no tickets available, so we won’t be going to that next year.
I thought priority meant you had choice of tickets, do you agree or not?

Week 126 – August 12th – Good to help
Today I received a voucher for the ICC survey I did earlier in the year.
One of the things I mentioned does appear it may be used by ICC.
Let’s see what happens.

Week 126 – August 12th – Darren Stevens
I received and email today, that after looking elsewhere, Kent have decided to release the legend that is Darren Stevens after being at the club for 17 years.
He has been an incredible player for Kent, I didn’t actually realise until reading the email that he didn’t bowl until after he joined Kent.
If you have been following the blog, you would have seen pictures from a 2nd team match which he was playing in, hopefully I can see again before the end of the season.
Thank you for your performances for the team.

Week 126 – August 11th – Good short break
So the short break is nearly over. We have been very lucky with the weather.
Definitely had a summer this year.
After another lovely meal at the Upper Deck, went for a walk and took this picture of the calm quay as the sun set. The water looked like ice as it was hardly moving.

Mudeford Quay as the sun sets. Never been before, but will come back.
