Week 289 – September 18th – Bank interest
The bank interest rate stays at 4%, with a 7 – 2 vote, the two people voted against, wanted the bank rate reduced to 3.75.
In the minutes released, the committee judged that a gradual and careful approach to further rate cuts “remained appropriate”

This was quite a full survey for me, due to my fracture and other medical appointments.
Plus, still waiting for my SVT vascular appointment also.

Week 289 – September 15th – Oyster card
I wasn’t aware that turning 60, you could get free travel on British rail and the underground if you live in a London borough.
So, I went on the London Transport website and filled out a form for my Oyster card.
You do have to pay an administration fee and renewal fee, but after a couple of trips, everything will be free.

This morning, I had a follow up call regarding my fractured right collarbone. Mainly to check how I was and to arrange follow up appointments.
