Covid19 – Was a major pandemic that hit the world in 2020.

  • Week 239 – October 12th – Flu and Covid 19 vaccine jabs

Took Claire to have her flu and Covid 19 vaccine jabs this morning at a chemist in Sidcup.

All went OK and hopefully these will protect her over the winter months.

  • Week 220 – June 1st – Claire Covid19 vaccine jab

Claire had booked the spring Covid19 vaccine jab via the NHS website and I took her around to the chemist for it.

After about 5 minutes, she came back and said she was refused the jab, because they didn’t class diabetic type 1 as an illness for this jab.

I don’t get, you can book it, but they won’t give it to her. She’s only trying to protect herself. I hope nothing happens to her.

  • Week 209 – Mar 11th – Winter Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Study

This afternoon, I received an email from the official of national statistics thanking me for my help doing the winter the COVID19 testing as they were closing it down.

As mentioned before, I’m glad I could be a part of this to help the country move forward from this virus.

Thankfully all my tests came back negative during this study.

  • Week 205 – Feb 14th – Covid19 test

Today I did my monthly winter Covid19 test and after what happened on Monday, I was pleased to see this come back negative.

  • Week 193 – Nov 22nd – First Covid 19 test

This morning I did my first Winter Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Study (Winter CIS) test.

Thankfully it came back negative and filled out the survey.

Glad I’m doing this, as there is a rise with the virus due to a new variant.

    Stay safe

  • Week 191 – Nov 10th – Covid 19 Infection survey

Today I received and email saying that the National Office of statistics has decided to stop the covid19 survey that had been suspended in March of this year.

They thanked me for the time I had done this during the pandemic.

I thought it was very useful to be part of this to help get back to a normal life.

  • Week 188 – Oct 21st – Covid 19 testing

I received a letter today asking if I would like to help with Covid 19 testing during the winter.

I thought why not, at least I will be able to test for free.

  • Week 186 – Oct 7th – Claire Covid 19 vaccine

I took Claire to the doctor’s surgery to get her winter booster for Covid 19 virus.

She can get this because she is in a high risk health group. All went well.

  • Week 167 – May 24th – Cricinfo

Those of you that have been following me, know that I have been doing some projects since the start of Covid 19 in regards to cricket and the website Cricinfo.

This morning, I finished the 1006th match that I have reviewed. Of these, 1001, have had some kind of mistake, error etc.

I find it quite amazing that the website does and don’t want to communicate with me now, as I have no response to my recent emails sent to them.

  • Week 165 – May 14th – First time this year

Can you believe it, were nearly 5 ½ months into the year and today was the first time we removed the bench covers and set outside.

Been saying to a few people recently, we were very lucky in the first Covid 19 lockdown, as the weather was really good then.

I think there would have been more people not following the rules and more issues, if the weather was like this year.
