On this Sunday, we went up to London, as Sotheby’s were holding a display of over a 1,000 items that were going up for auction in September of various Freddie Mercury items that he had in his home in London.
Not surprisingly there was a queue to get in, we actually started our queuing in front of the exit of Sotheby’s. An employee came out and said it should only take 30 minutes, but not long after we started moving, someone else said an hour.
The first employee obviously knew better as it took just 25 minutes and thankfully it stay dry.

Week 178 – August 11th – Surrey v Kent – Part 7
Victorious Kent team walking off after a good winning performance. Not been able to say that much this season. 
Final score Enjoyable day at The Oval in good weather to watch the match.
It turned out there was a crowd of nearly 7,000 for the match, which is pretty impressive for a county one day match. Must have taken Surrey by surprise. Even more so as Kent won!
Yes it was a good batting performance by Kent, backed up by a useful bowling performance. Always good to see Kent beat Surrey.
