We went to visit the Kent town of Sandwich on Boxing Day and had a lovely walk by the river Stour.
Some pictures from the walk.

We did manage to get out and went down to St Margarets Bay.
As usual the English Channel was still busy.

I didn’t realise this until today – “The beach at St Margaret’s is famous for being the closest point to France and is often where Channel swimmers begin their 21-mile swim.”
Was amazed we hardly saw any children out sledging or even playing in the snow as you can see from these pictures of scenery and no people.

Some pictures of the snowy Knole Park.

Yes, I know you been missing them, here are the deer. 🙂

With the forecast changing tonight, we decided to go to Knole Park to see the deer in the snow.
Yes more deer pictures.

We then drove along to St Margarets Bay which isn’t far from Dover.
Few pictures from this location.

Some more pictures from Dover cliffs.
