Week 146 – December 26th – Sandwich – Part 1
We went to visit the Kent town of Sandwich on Boxing Day and had a lovely walk by the river Stour.

Week 145 – December 25th – St Margarets Bay
We did manage to get out and went down to St Margarets Bay.
As usual the English Channel was still busy.

English channel. I didn’t realise this until today – “The beach at St Margaret’s is famous for being the closest point to France and is often where Channel swimmers begin their 21-mile swim.”

Was amazed we hardly saw any children out sledging or even playing in the snow as you can see from these pictures of scenery and no people.

With the forecast changing tonight, we decided to go to Knole Park to see the deer in the snow.

We then drove along to St Margarets Bay which isn’t far from Dover.

We visited Claire’s dad today and took a trip to Dover cliff tops.
It was a clear day and could see so much of France as you can see from the pictures.
