Covid19 – Was a major pandemic that hit the world in 2020.

  • Week 164 – May 5th – Covid 19 over

    Well not quite.

The WHO today officially announced the pandemic over regarding Covid 19, though still saying it’s with us for ever.

Who would have thought back in January 2020, what an impact was about to happen on the world?

I still think it came out of a Chinese lab, but we will never know.

    Stay safe out there.

  • Week 161 – April 13th – Bexhill on Sea – Part 1

Though the weather wasn’t great, we drove to Bexhill on Sea. It was defiantly windy there, but at least dry.

The price of parking seemed reasonable as well, compared to the last time we visited.

  • Week 157 – March 15th – Covid19 testing

Today I received a letter from UK Health Security Agency thanking myself and Claire regarding the ending of the Covid19 infection survey as it is.

They may continue in a different format and will let us know if we are required.

It was good to be a part of the survey for the 3 years, helping the country get back on its feet after this pandemic, also useful for us regarding how we were doing regarding Covid19 and the vaccines that we took.

  • Week 136 – October 23rd – Covid19 autumn booster

This morning I had my Covid19 autumn booster. It was very well organised and I had the Pfizer jab again.

So I’ve now had 2 Astra Zeneca jabs and 2 Pfizer jabs.

Just the heavy arm and feeling nausea this time for a few hours.

    Stay safe out there.

  • Week 135 – October 14th – Covid19 Booster

Today I received a text message from the NHS that allowed me to book my Covid19 booster jab.

All done on online and will be having the booster at the same location as the other 3 jabs.

  • Week 132 – September 25th – Covid19 booster

Claire had her autumn Covid19 booster jab today.

Had the sore arm and felt cold for a couple of day, but otherwise all good.

  • Week 124 – July 31st – Covid19 survey

We decided to stop being part of the covid19 survey, due to the way it was now being done.

Been enjoyable doing it, to help fight the virus, which will be around for ever.

Will take the 4th vaccine jab in the autumn.

    Stay safe everyone.

  • Week 119 – June 26th – West Malling farmer market.

Today we went to the West Malling farmer market and Manor Country Park.

This was the first time to the market since Covid19 hit, unfortunately the number of stalls had greatly reduced, so another fallout from the pandemic.

  • Week 116 – June 2nd – Biggin Hill Part 1

Finally this week we got to the Lookout café at Biggin Hill.

It had been closed down during the pandemic as it was used as a Covid19 testing centre.

Unfortunately none of the staff were still there, but still provided good food and service, and a great place to watch aircraft land and go.

Took some pictures of the various aircraft there.

  • Week 106 – March 25th – Covid19 test

I registered today for Covid19 test kit, but everywhere I went over the next week didn’t have any.

Could that be down to this being the last week of free test kits?
