Week 225 – July 5th – Not again

Trying to start the car again. Claire had a day off today, so we decided to go up to Ruxley garden centre for breakfast.
Had a good breakfast and went back to the car to go elsewhere and NO. The car wouldn’t go into gear, like what happened in January.
We checked in the manual after what the car mechanic had shown me and I pressed the button to reset the car, but nothing happened.
So I called the RAC to send someone.
After x amount of time, the car lost all power, thankfully this time we were parked on a flat surface, so no fear of rolling.
I tried the reset button again and the power came back, but the car wouldn’t respond.
Left it for some time waiting for the RAC to turn up, then I thought, why is the car camera working and Claire’s phone charging?
So I tried to start the car again and this time everything worked. Phew
The manual recommends that you drive for at least 30 minutes, so we took a drive, cancelled the RAC.
We stopped after about an hour to put petrol into car, and thankfully the car started again after it had been fuelled up.
Why has this happened again, especially after the long drive yesterday to Norwich?

Week 225 – July 5th – Another small win
The small wins keep coming for us on the national lottery.
As the jackpot wasn’t won, it was a roll down to all the other prices, which meant as well as winning 2 lucky dip tickets, we also won £10.
Is there a big one around the corner?

As it was a roll down and no one claimed the jackpot, the lucky dip wins also won £5 too. -
