Week 280 – July 20th – Smurf film
This evening, we went to the new Smurf film, we wanted to miss the children, but unfortunately there were some idiots in the cinema that Claire told to be quiet as they were making too much noise. Amazingly they did.
Considering all the famous people in the film, this was the worse Smurf film and the worse film we have seen this year.
Smurf at the cinema. These were much better than the film. This probably the best thing about the film lol.

Roger Black, Iwan Thomas, Jamie Baulch and Mark Richardson – plus Mark Hylton, who ran in the heats getting there upgraded World Champions Gold medal from Sebastian Coe. Roger Black, Iwan Thomas, Jamie Baulch and Mark Richardson – plus Mark Hylton, who ran in the heats – finished second to the USA at the event, which was held in Athens (1997).
The Americans were later stripped of the title as a result of an anti-doping violation by team member Antonio Pettigrew and the British line-up were upgraded to world champions.
Shame they had to wait 28 years to get there gold medal, but they were given amazing cheer and support on receiving them today.
