On the longest daylight day of the year, we visited various places in the Lake District, I hope you enjoy the postings?
We pulled over at High Cascades and enjoyed the scenery.

We went to Lake Windermere and spent some time there.

Week 171 – June 19th – Keswick
Today we travelled up to the Lake District for a few days away. Claire’s dad came with us, first holiday without her mum.

Looking up to the hills from Keswick town centre. We were staying in a cottage on a farm just outside Keswick.
Hopefully the weather will be good for the week.

Week 170 – June 16th Rose starting to bloom
The rose tree in memory of Claire’s mum is ready to bloom now.

Memory rose tree blooming well. Were very happy how it’s doing in its first year.

Week 169 – June 10th – Seaford – Part 3

Part of the rocky front of the Seaford coastline. 
Sea gulls soaking up the sun. 
Very calm English Channel. These are the final pictures from the trip, as we had a nice lay down on the beech to soak the sun in, before traveling back home.
