Week 163 – April 29th – Middlesex v Kent – Part 6
Final pictures from our visit to Lords.

Agar to Robson.
Quinn to Malan. put away for a 4 Kent 186 of 65.2 overs (BG Compton 52, TJ Murtagh 4-40, ER Bamber 4-42) and 128 of 57 overs (TJ Murtagh 6-42) lost to Middlesex 229 of 58.1 overs (RF Higgins 71, WA Agar 4-60) and 86-1 of 24.3 overs by 9 wickets.
Well we were out played by Middlesex and are struggling in the county championship.
I hope its not going to be another team I follow that is relegated this year?
As the match finished early we took a trip into the West End of London and saw Oxford Street flying the union flags for the King’s Charles III coronation next week.
Also went back to the Italian restaurant Remo and had another good meal.

Flags out for the coronation next weekend. I hope you have enjoyed this series of posting regarding the visit to Lords?
Hopefully if the weather is decent and not as many rail strikes, you might see further posting from cricket matches.

Week 163 – April 29th – Middlesex v Kent – Part 1
Finally got to go and see some cricket today, as the weather was decent and no rail strikes too.
We went up to Lords today, for the third day of the county championship between Middlesex and Kent. Only certain parts of the ground are open, which I find strange.
Kent were batting in their second innings and trying to save the match, could they?

Lords pavilion in all its glory.
Father Time looking around.
Claire took this picture of Ben Compton playing a forward defensive in the 1st over of the day. Well done her. -
Week 161 – April 15th – Lemon drizzle.
We took a drive out today to a garden centre in Tunbridge Wells.
Of course we had a stop in the restaurant and I had slice of lemon drizzle with a cup of coffee.
Is this the reason, why I can’t back below 18 stone?

Lemon drizzle. It was yummy. -

War memorial. I thought this was very cleverly done.
Good old fish and chips at a lovely restaurant along the coast line.
