Today my cricket coaching DBS was renewed for another year. Though they don’t tell you.
You’re only told if there is a problem.
I also did one via the government website for the other stuff that I do. That has been passed also

Week 66 – June 14th – Week 5 of lockdown easing phase 3
Today I became a member of the ECB Coaches Association which was down to my qualification coaching course I passed in May, this gives me more access to coaching updates and videos for training.

Week 63 – May 24th – Week 2 of lockdown easing phase 3
Today I did my first training session with the Speldhurst under 13 boys. I worked with Mark Utting.
It was good to put into practice things that I have learned from the course. There was a good turn out of 16 boys.
I enjoyed session with the boys.

Week 61 – May 10th – Week 5 of lockdown easing phase 2
Today was the second part of the face to face modules for the cricket coaching.
Today you had to do a session on bowling and batting. We were in the same groups as last week.
We manage to complete it just before it poured down and I passed to get my ECB Foundation 1 coach level 1.

Today I completed the online module part of the ECB coaching course and managed to pass it with a respectable 83%
So now down to the final two modules face to face on Sunday to hopefully pass.
I passed the online part of the course. Now just the second face to face part on Sunday. I hope I do it. -
Week 61 – May 10th – Week 5 of lockdown easing phase 2
I applied this morning to be part of the ECB coaching association, which I can become a member once I pass the course that I’m doing.
If I do pass, gives access to more coaching tools and information.

Week 60 – May 3rd – Week 4 of lockdown easing phase 2
Today I did my first part of the face to face training at Kent’s Beckenham crickt ground. Overall I think it went well. Just need to realise that you will be dealing with children of all standards.

ECB cricket course I pass my safe guarding part of the course with 100%.
You have to be so careful working with children. It was a huge lesson for me, things that I did back when I was a child you couldn’t get away with now. As the world changed that much?

Today I started my ECB cricket coaching course (ECB Foundation I Coach), first 4 modules are online.
I chose to do the face to face at Kent Beckenham cricket ground.
