I visited the doctor surgery today, to hand in the newly requested blood tests after last week’s doctor call.
Next call now, not till the 9th May.
So those results will be no good.

Today I received a letter from UK Health Security Agency thanking myself and Claire regarding the ending of the Covid19 infection survey as it is.
They may continue in a different format and will let us know if we are required.
It was good to be a part of the survey for the 3 years, helping the country get back on its feet after this pandemic, also useful for us regarding how we were doing regarding Covid19 and the vaccines that we took.
So one week later I’m back over 18 stone.
Looks like this will be an ongoing battle to stay below 18 stone.

So after 11 months, I finally got my weight below 18 stone.
Which means I have lost just over 2 stone since having my health check at the end of March 2021.
I should never have gone over 20 stone, but that was my fault and letting myself go.
I had forgotten to ask the nurse during the week if I had fought off being diabetic, so will ask the doctor this week coming, but hopefully with this weight loss, I have.
I have noticed I can now do things easier and not getting out of breath or in pain.
Now the battle to stay there.

This afternoon I get a phone call from the doctors, saying I need to have an urgent blood test done at the hospital as my potassium was showing a reading of 6, which is high. This was from the blood test I had done on the 7th February.
They said go to the hospital now and say it’s for an urgent blood test.
I get to the hospital and there is nowhere to park, this is due to some work going on in the car park, I drive around, but can’t find spaces in any other car park, so find a side road to park in and walk to the blood test centre.
There I get told, that I need a form for the blood test, which the doctor never said, so I go back to the car and drive to the surgery, yes there was a form there with urgent on it. Why didn’t they say?
So I go back, park in the same road, which was wise as the car park still full, and was allowed in.
The person who took my blood, actually took it out of my right hand, never had it done like that before, as they said the vein was good. Again I didn’t feel anything.
This morning I had my blood tests done at the surgery to find out why my blood pressure is high.
As usual they say sharp scratch, but I never felt anything. I’m not the greatest with needles.
Just wait now to see what the results are.
