Week 228 – July 25th – Health Insight Survey
This morning I did a survey regarding my experience with the NHS.
Your participation will help:
- the NHS to improve local health services for people like you and your family
- inform national NHS policy
Thankfully I didn’t have much to comment as I haven’t really used the NHS in the period the survey was covering.

Week 220 – June 1st – Claire Covid19 vaccine jab
Claire had booked the spring Covid19 vaccine jab via the NHS website and I took her around to the chemist for it.
After about 5 minutes, she came back and said she was refused the jab, because they didn’t class diabetic type 1 as an illness for this jab.
I don’t get, you can book it, but they won’t give it to her. She’s only trying to protect herself. I hope nothing happens to her.

Week 213 – Apr 8th – NHS Loneliness survey
This evening I received an email from NHS, as signed up for Be Part of Research and was asked to do a survey about loneliness.
It was an easy survey to do and hopefully it will provide help for people.

Week 212 – Apr 2nd – Can we get the pump
This morning I went with Claire to see the diabetic nurse to see if Claire can go on to a pump that allows her to control her insulin better and then her diabetes.
Of course being Claire, it’s not going to be straight forward because of the amount of insulin she is taking, but the nurse was positive about it.
Keeping our fingers cross, especially after the impact that the Libre has had.

Week 209 – Mar 11th – Winter Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Study
This afternoon, I received an email from the official of national statistics thanking me for my help doing the winter the COVID19 testing as they were closing it down.
As mentioned before, I’m glad I could be a part of this to help the country move forward from this virus.
Thankfully all my tests came back negative during this study.
