This morning I found out not good news and short live too.
My dad blood count was high, so next week they are going to start him again on chemotherapy.
So that good news didn’t last long, but dad said he felt OK in himself.

This morning I found out not good news and short live too.
My dad blood count was high, so next week they are going to start him again on chemotherapy.
So that good news didn’t last long, but dad said he felt OK in himself.
Today I did my monthly winter Covid19 test and after what happened on Monday, I was pleased to see this come back negative.
No it wasn’t.
Not sure what caused it, but I was hit by the Norovirus.
Never had it before and never want it again.
Completely knocked me for six.
Today, I finally got to the opticians to have my eyes tested, after the issues with the car. Have been using this optician for over 50 years.
As my prescription as slightly changed, I will need to have new glasses. Which are not cheap. What is these days?
An extra check, I paid for diabetic eye check, which was all clear.
I like that I can see parts of my previous eye tests from other years on the computer and thankfully they have hardly changed.
This afternoon I did my test for Bowel Cancer.
Due to my age, I do this every two years.
Hopefully this will come back negative.
This morning I did my first Winter Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Study (Winter CIS) test.
Thankfully it came back negative and filled out the survey.
Glad I’m doing this, as there is a rise with the virus due to a new variant.
Stay safe
Just by chance, I happened to go to the NHS app on my phone, as I noticed that I could see my blood results. They came back OK, which is a relief.
Today I received and email saying that the National Office of statistics has decided to stop the covid19 survey that had been suspended in March of this year.
They thanked me for the time I had done this during the pandemic.
I thought it was very useful to be part of this to help get back to a normal life.
I had a blood test this morning to see how I was doing regarding diabetes.
Hopefully with the exercise I was doing and less eating it should still be OK.
I hate needles, lol, but thankfully no trouble with getting the blood out.
I was lucky, there was only 1 other person waiting and I was in and out before Claire had found somewhere to park.
I received a letter today asking if I would like to help with Covid 19 testing during the winter.
I thought why not, at least I will be able to test for free.
