General life story
This week is a big week for Claire parents as both of them are due to have major operations.
Claire’s mum has actually been in hospital since the 7th February.

After having few email conversations with Rob Carter, I looked at this company again and there was a job for “In-Ground Cricket Analyst – London.
I put my CV forward and also answered the cricket questions they asked, I believe I got them all correct accept for the 20/20 question.
I realised afterwards I made a mistake as I didn’t send any of my cricket project’s I have been doing, silly me.
Today I took my first re-flux tablet, mainly due to the coughing I was suffering, which is similar symptoms I suffered a few years back.
Though I should have started them on Friday last week, but after contacting the doctor surgery yesterday (Monday), it turned out the doctor hadn’t pressed the button to send the prescription to the chemist.
Thankfully this wasn’t urgent and needing the medication over the weekend.
This morning it was sad to hear that MeatLoaf has passed away. Great showman and I regularly uses his music for work outs.
Meat Loaf’s best-known album, the bombastic Bat Out Of Hell, remains one of the best-selling releases of all time.
The star sold 100 million albums worldwide in total and also appeared in movies like Fight Club, the Rocky Horror Picture Show and Wayne’s World.
He was also known for hits like I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That) and Dead Ringer For Love.
The Dallas-born singer was born Marvin Lee Aday but also known as Michael, and got his nickname when his dad said he looked as red as meat at birth, before a high school football coach added the “loaf”.
As well as the Bat Out Of Hell trilogy, he released a string of other albums in the late 1970s and 1980s, most notably Dead Ringer and Midnight at the Lost and Found.
RIP
Today I had my regular two year eye test.
Thankfully everything is OK, hardly any change to my eyes.
Today we went to the post office, to send Claire damaged passport off.
The time of year doesn’t help, but were see what happens.
Keep your fingers cross people.
The front of the house was completed with the second coat of paint going on.
Very happy with the work done, do you agree?

I think they have done have a brilliant job. Now waiting for it to dry.

Today was the by-election for our constituency due to the death of the previous MP.
We voted, which is more then most people did, only 34% of constituency which is lowest for any by-election since 2018.
I always find it strange that the voting papers are marked using a pencil. No idea why.
