If you’re in the UK, I would definitely recommend this.
Even more so after reading on a local website, that someone had their property up for construction work and it wasn’t the home owners that had proposed it.
Our property was all OK.
General life story

Now back home, we visited Currys to try and take advantage of the after Christmas deals to get a new washing machine, as our machine the drum had come loose. I must admit the deals weren’t great.
This was the machine we chose and it will be delivered in two days’ time, which we weren’t expecting.

We were down at Claire’s dad for Christmas and for a change we decided to have an Indian meal, which had been brought from Marks and Spencer, (nice bit of money they earned from us).
Very enjoyable.

This evening we picked up the Christmas food from Marks and Spencer. As always, it was well organised, but you could see the cost of living was coming home as there was only three of us in the queue, where normally it was like if you were at a Disney park, snaking back and forward.
Hopefully it will taste as great as it looks.

A warm up for Christmas dinner next week, we had a practice tonight.
Just missing the turkey lol.
It was yummy.

This afternoon, I updated my preferences on the UK government website to receive emails regarding
Census: 2021 Census outputs
Admin-based population statistics
Ageing
Crime and justice statistics
Mortality and life expectancy
Office for Statistics Regulation newsletter
The Highway Code: change to rules
I thought it would be good to receive information regarding these subjects.
As we seem to take many things from America good or bad. I took advantage of the Black Friday sales today and purchase some items saving over 50% on the original price.
With the cost of living, everything helps.
This morning I went and saw Martin Ives.
Always interesting parking where he works and today was especially not easy to park.
Good to catch up and will be looking to organise an event in the New Year.
This morning I took the Kia Sportage for its first service.
Everything went all OK.
I like that they send you a video and explain everything about the service.
In a blog posting earlier in the year, I mentioned that I had sent an email on why the ticket offices should be saved at railway stations.
I just read that they will for the time being, which is great news.
Feels good to have an impact on something, well done to everyone else that sent emails into.
