My retirement wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for my lovely wife Claire.
Here relaxing on the patio, of course with the IPhone. 🙂

New tree plants in front of the harbour.

New stone and plants in front of the new fence.

Is that really our garden? Lovely sky too. Are we really in England?

Thank you to Ziya for helping me take down the old fence and putting the new one up. Plus also thank you to my lovely wife for helping with the painting of the posts and wall.

More good work by MJ Limited

and again 🙂

My pension pot was now with Brewin Dolphin. It was now all go and prey that the markets cope well during these very strange times.
So after 16 painful seasons, Leeds United finally returned to the Premiership where a club of that status belongs!!
They did it without kicking a ball thanks to local rivals Huddersfield Town beating WBA 2-1.
In a year when they have lost three of their great 1970’s team Jack Charlton, Trevor Cherry and Norman Hunter.
Marcelo Bielsa has got us back where these three great players performed in the then top division and Europe.
A few days later, Leeds were confirmed as champions of the Championship league.

Yes a haircut, first since February. Felt so much better after having the mop cut. Especially in the good weather we were having.
This week I had a Zoom meeting with Nikki and my market advisor (Graeme) from Brewin Dolphin. These would be the people monitoring my portfolio making sure my investment was doing the best it could, especially during these pandemic times, I knew this wasn’t going to be easy.
As explained, it’s the long journey, as it will be a roller-coaster ride and no one really knows what is going to happen in these very unusual times!!
International cricket returned but not as we know it, with the first test between England and West Indies in a bio secure environment Rose Bowl Southampton.
No crowds.
Players living together and staying at the grounds hotel.
Taking a knee at the start of the match.
Local umpires.
Highlights on the BBC with the lead presenter a female.
West Indies winning by 4 wickets
4th July, a big day in the USA, but this year a BIG day in the UK, restaurants, pubs, non-retail shops, garden centres could reopen.
Would people follow the rules?
