Ongoing communication with Cricinfo website and the number of errors, which I find quite incredible for the number 1 cricket website in the world.

    Hi Michael,

I’ve checked with our data team – many of the errors in the partnership and wagon wheel part of match stats from before 2006 are because of bugs with our earlier scoring software, which we have moved on from. None of the numbers on that page impact our overall partnership/wagon-wheel numbers because the errors are only in rendering on that page; at the back end all the numbers have been captured correctly.

And some of those are not errors at all – when a wicket falls off the last ball of an over, only the other not-out batsman is shown in the end-of-over summary; the new batsman appears later.

Our data guys will get to this at some point, but it’s not high-priority at the moment given some of the other projects they are currently on.

    Regards

    S Rajesh

    Senior stats editor, ESPNcricinfo

    This was my response –

    Hello S Rajesh.

    Thank you for your response.

I sensed they were bugs as they we’re happening to often.

Regarding the end of over, not over 1 and the player is out of the last ball. It’s showing the wrong player on the end of the over graphic.

I have to say. I class cricinfo as the number one cricket site in the world and it’s quite staggering the number of errors that are on the site.

For the record we have found errors in this year’s matches, which we have reported and are still showing.

    Regards

    Michael.

Claire shouts down, the toilet won’t flush. I have a quick look and can’t see anything wrong, I phoned our plumbing service and the earliest they could get to us was December 2nd (I’m calling on November 27th), in normal times, that’s bad enough, but in Covid19 times, that is ridiculous.

I called Ziya and had a chat with him, I then cleaned of soot type stuff at the bottom of the tank and it started working again. Even though my mother in law said it must have been a botch-job, it was far from it, as MJ limited struck again.

I decided that MJ Limited should look smart when gardening, so this what I wore today and in video action too. ?

Some more videos of MJ Limited completing the turf laying after digging a bigger area. Happy to help, contact me for a quote.

Using the CCTV, I’m posting some videos of MJ limited laying the extra new turf. Considering this was all new to me this year, I think I have done a good job, yes/no?

With lockdown, the television output became less and even watching series on Iplayer, you soon run out of stuff. So we moved into the 21st Century.

So we signed up with Prime video and Netflix, so watched the Crown and Homeland, plus I also watched the behind the scenes of Australia cricket as they looked to recover from the ball tampering. Now looking at the Formula 1 series.

    NetFlix
With not much available on TV, decided to get Prime and NetFlix.

Comments from my market investor after information I had read about the American Market.

Global equity markets are certainly in a good mood, feeding off the positive news from the vaccine developers. We are also seeing a slight rotation from growth companies into the more valued focused areas of the market thereby broadening the rally and giving it a firmer footing. This is meant to be a quite week for markets with Thanksgiving in the US but is proving to be nothing of the sort.
