One of the all time greats at Leeds United, sadly passed away.

Leeds United’s all-time record goalscorer Peter Lorimer has died aged 74, the club have announced.

The former Scotland international scored 238 goals in 705 appearances for Leeds over two spells spanning 23 years.

He won two league titles, the FA Cup and League Cup with Leeds under legendary manager Don Revie.

Leeds announced “with great sadness” Lorimer had died on Saturday morning “following a long-term illness”.

A statement read: “Peter’s contribution to Leeds United will never be forgotten and his passing leaves another huge hole in the Leeds United family.

“He will always remain a club icon and his legacy at Elland Road will live on.”

Lorimer also won 21 caps for Scotland and played in all three of their matches at the 1974 World Cup, scoring in the 2-0 win against Zaire.

Lorimer became Leeds’ youngest ever player when he made his debut against Southampton in September 1962 at the age of 15 years, 289 days.

Haysden Country Park – Tonbridge – We have travelled on the A21 untold times and never realised that we drove over this park and lakes. We had a lovely time here, enjoy the pictures.

Haysden Country Park lies on the western outskirts of Tonbridge. It covers an area of about 65 hectares and includes a range of natural habitats such as river, grassland, freshwater lakes, marshland and woodland. The site is designated as a Local Nature Reserve and in part a Site of Nature Conservation Interest. It has also been a Green Flag award park since 2006 and is a Natural England accredited park.

Today we received all the will documents, so that is all sorted.

I would definitely recommend doing this for peace of mind, especially if you have a family or business.

You never know what is going to happen

    Portfolio update

I am delighted to confirm that yesterday we completed March’s monthly rebalance for all 14 MPS portfolios across our active and passive ranges.

Backdrop to this month’s tactical rebalance: Within the Global economy, there are signs that a rotation is starting to play out from growth to value. Equity markets rose this month but other major asset classes were down for the month of February. Both US and UK equities performed well but emerging markets fell. Being underweight bonds and overweight UK Equities was positive over the month

The key details of this rebalance are as follows:

We have reduced the allocation to North American equities which has exposure to growth stocks that are sensitive to rising bond yields.
We have increased the allocation to Japan where the exposure is more pro-cyclical.
Overall our Asset Allocation Committee continue to maintain an overweight equity position, based on the medium-term outlook, we believe equities can grind out further gains over the next 12-18 months.
The next planned re-balance date will be 12 April 2021.
In the US, a better-than-expected jobs report boosted the Dow and S&P 500, whereas the Nasdaq fell amid another sell-off in technology stocks. The FTSE 100 was the best performer, rising by 2.3% after the budget promised further fiscal support and revealed encouraging economic data

    Vaccine jab reaction.

I had the heavy arm all day, but suddenly around 7pm, I felt very cold and tired, so this was roughly 31 hours after the jab.
I had some dinner and at 8pm, I went to bed.
Next day, still didn’t feel 100%, but thankfully wasn’t feeling cold.
By Wednesday I was all OK apart from the heavy arm.
