Week 80 – September 26th – England v New Zealand at Canterbury – Part 4
An enjoyable day as England thrashed New Zealand in nice late September weather, shame the season in general couldn’t be as good as it has been in September regarding the weather.

England 347-5 in 50 overs (Lauren Winfield-Hill 43, Tammy Beaumont 102, Natalie Sciver 39, Amy Jones 60, Sophia Dunkley 33, Danni Wyatt 43, Hannah Rowe 10-1-65-2) beat New Zealand 144 in 35.2 overs (Sophie Ecclestone 8-1-32-2, Kate Cross 8-0-44-3, Heather Knight 5-0-24-3) by 203 runs.
Great comment at the presentation by the New Zealand caption Sophie Devine – “It’s one of those games you just flush down the dunny. Full credit to England, they completely outperformed us.

Today we went to final international match of the summer. Good size crowd and reasonable weather.

Week 80 – September 25th – Flu jab
Yesterday I rang up after both myself and Claire had received text messages saying that we could have the flu jab.
I was quite surprised when they said that we could come today. So both myself and Claire have now had the flu vaccine jab.

Week 80 – September 24th – Kent v Middlesex at Canterbury – Part 2

Kent manage to win and take the division three title. So what a week for Kent cricket, winning this title, as well as the Vitality Blast, plus the ladies winning there competition as well.

Week 80 – September 24th – Kent v Middlesex at Canterbury – Part 1
The game went into the final day, as the weather was decent, I travelled down with Claire to see who would win.
Kent started the final day on 275-5, after Ollie Robinson was out to final ball of the day yesterday for 112.
So need 98 more runs to win with 5 wickets left. So who is going to win?
