Week 129 – August 30th – Leeds United v Everton

Luis Sinisterra scored his first Premier League goal for Leeds as they came from a goal behind to draw with Everton in a pulsating encounter at Elland Road.
The Colombian winger, who hit his first goal for the club in the EFL Cup last week following a summer move from Feyenoord, drove in from 18 yards after the break as Leeds piled pressure on Everton.
They were much improved after a poor first half when Anthony Gordon scored for a second successive game, keeping his cool to slip the ball through Illan Meslier’s legs following Alex Iwobi’s through ball.
Leeds’s top scorer Rodrigo also went off with what Jesse Marsch confirmed afterwards was a dislocated shoulder following an innocuous challenge with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Leeds’s second-half recovery came after a first period where they showed plenty of effort but found Everton’s new-look defence too tough to breach.
Another good performance to start the season and keep us in the top 5, hopefully the injury to Rodrigo isn’t too bad.
League position 5th after 5 game – After 5 game last season, Leeds were 16th.

Week 129 – August 29th – Greenwich Park
The final public holiday before Christmas. Still decent weather, so had a walk around Greenwich Park.
Very busy today, helped by the good weather.

Week 128 – August 28th – Will this help my diet?
After the mess at Royal Victoria Garden Park, we came back and went to Ruxley garden centre and had a bite to eat.
I decided to have a coffee sundae. It was yummy.
So naughty but nice. -

Well the website said free parking, but there was none. Nowhere to really park either.
We both heard a bang and wonder what that was.
As we turned around to leave, a car that had thanked us for letting them out, at the top of the road had been crashed into quite badly.

Today I registered for tickets for the Ashes series at Lords next year.
Hopefully I might be lucky and get a chance to get tickets for the famous match next year.

I had a chat with my investment manager today, hopefully after the dreadful start to the year, the markets will bounce back again like they have before.
