Month: December 2022

  • Week 143 – December 10th – Dover – Part 1

We visited Claire’s dad today and took a trip to Dover cliff tops.

It was a clear day and could see so much of France as you can see from the pictures.

  • Week 143 – December 8th – Full moon

Captured the full moon this evening on clear night sky.

Again this is just late afternoon, shows how dark it gets so quickly in winter.

  • Week 143 – December 7th – The moon

I couldn’t believe how early I was seeing the moon this afternoon as it was building towards a full moon tomorrow.

  • Week 143 – December 7th – Oviva

This is the app that I have been using to help with hopefully preventing becoming diabetic type 2.

On the 20th October, I got this message from my coach –

    “Hi Michael,

    That’s really great to hear!

It’s good that you have a goal weight in mind. You are doing really well and the graph shows that you are steadily losing weight. Also, you are only at the start of the programme.

I will be messaging you 3 times next week. After that, it will just be 1 message per a week on alternate weeks.

    You too and best wishes,

    Alice”

But to this day, I hadn’t heard anything, so yesterday, I emailed there support and today I had a phone call from her colleague, apologising and that the above message was incorrect and I wasn’t to hear from my coach till January.

I have to admit, the phone call was pretty pointless and from a bit of communication since from Alice, it turns out they don’t get notified if I send a chat message on the app, which seems a useless chat system, don’t you agree?

  • Week 142 – December 4th – Decorations – Part 2

Some more pictures of tree, especially around Claire mum.

  • Week 142 – December 4th – Decorations – Part 1

Today we put up the Christmas decorations and tree.

Claire originally didn’t want too, but her mum loved how the tree looked.

    Hope you like it?

  • Week 142 – December 3rd – Ashes to Glass

Today we took a trip to the dark side and went to Essex.

To a shop called Ashes to Glass. This was so Claire, who took a small part of her mum’s ashes, to be made into a pendant to wear, so that she will have her always close to her.

The shop was in a small village and was very well laid out.
