We next stopped by Ullswater Lake and I took a couple of pictures.

On the longest daylight day of the year, we visited various places in the Lake District, I hope you enjoy the postings?
We pulled over at High Cascades and enjoyed the scenery.

More pictures from the boat trip.

After picking up Claire’s dads scooter to make it easier for him to get around.
We went to Lake Windermere and spent some time there.
Pictures from the visit.

We took a boat trip ride on Lake Windermere.

Today we travelled up to the Lake District for a few days away. Claire’s dad came with us, first holiday without her mum.

We were staying in a cottage on a farm just outside Keswick.
Hopefully the weather will be good for the week.
Hope you enjoy the pictures from the holiday.

This was the response I got back from the Oval.
“Hi Michael,
We have not received feedback regarding crowds around the ground this year. This is very valuable feedback for us to look into to ensure everyone in the ground feels safe.
I hope this answers your question.
Kind regards,
Maddie”
I did reply, saying was surprised at this, due to the increase in the ground capacity, but not in actual ground space. I just hope nothing happens at the Ashes as is a sell-out.
Very apt, that on the 18th of the month, I managed to get back below 18 stone again. 😀😀
Now at 17st 12lbs.
Now the fight to stay there, but with a week in the Lake District coming up, it will be hard, but let’s see.
The rose tree in memory of Claire’s mum is ready to bloom now.

Were very happy how it’s doing in its first year.
