The rose tree for the memory of Claire’s mum is starting to bloom really well don’t you think?

Claire got an email today, regarding our gas bill which was a bit of a shock.
Considering we used less than last year looking back at our records, which was impressive, as it was much colder this winter and we had been to the Maldives too last winter.
The bill as doubled to £130 from £65.
What I found crazy is the financial help is ending and we didn’t get any help on the gas bill, it was just the electric bill.
This morning I had a review with my financial advisor and market expert.
Considering the last year, my portfolio hasn’t done too bad or too great either, but at least nothing crazy considering everything that is going on in the world.
Hopefully the financial world is now settle after the banking issues earlier this year and the interest rates will start to have an impact in a positive way and we will see the markets grow.
It still makes me wonder about some of the people I used to work with, who are renting and had no pension setup, how they will cope in later life or even now with every going up?

As the weather was lovely and as you can see the excellent fuel economy we were getting from the car, we went to Haysden Country Park.
Some pictures from the visit.

Now that’s what you call fuel economy?

Shame it can’t be like that all the time.

Another unfortunate record for Leeds, as Sam Allardyce as left the club and takes the record for the shortest manager rein in the premiership.
We actually now have 1st and 3rd place for shortest premiership manager reins, which is pretty poor, considering the few seasons we have been in the premiership.
This in a season of record number of managers in the premiership.
