Not long after we got home, we looked out into our garden and saw this bird on our fence.
We were lucky to take some pictures, after doing a reverse look up, it appears that it was a sparrow hawk.
The sparrow hawk stayed for quite a while sitting on fence.

Happy to be corrected if wrong.

Another 3 ball win on a ticket that covered us whilst we were on holiday, which a nice little surprise.
Will there be a bigger win?

This afternoon we attend the burial of Ziya dad.
Thankfully the weather stay dry as the whole service was done outside and most of it in a foreign language, which was unusual to say the least and first for me.
It was a lovely service and good to see how a different religion does a service.
RIP.

I texted into Magic Radio this morning about our wonderful holiday in Mauritius and not expecting to hear anything.
But then Nick Snaith the presenter read my text out 1st on his show, Claire was surprised to hear it as I didn’t tell her.
Thank you Nick.
This morning I completed my Health Insight survey again.
Thankfully nothing to report.
Well those 12 days flew by, can’t believe where back home. Of course it’s wet and miserable here, after all that sun and warmth in Mauritius.
At least we have some wonderful memories to look back on, which I hope you have liked in the blog that I have posted?
So the flight from Dubai to Heathrow, was all going well, until we reached England when it announced there were delays at Heathrow, so we were in a holding pattern.
I had the Emirates aircraft camera on, that was under the aircraft and I was quite shocked to see an aircraft flying below us, it looked really close, but most likely a few thousand feet below us.
We finally landed after flying around for about 40 minutes, but were held on the runway for 30 minutes. Finally after getting to the gate, we were then held up for another 20 minutes as they had issues to get the doors open.
Then we had a long walk to the customs, which thankfully wasn’t too busy and got through quite quickly.
Once we claimed our suitcase, we found our driver, who I had messaged to say what was going, so didn’t have park for too long in the car park.
The journey home was good, but where did those 12 days go?
Can’t wait to return to Mauritius!!
