1,000 FIRST-CLASS WICKETS FOR ANDERSON
Kent 19-5
James Anderson made his first-class debut in 2002. Now, here we are in 2021 and there is another huge milestone wicket for the Lancashire and England pace bowler.
Heino Kuhn is the man to go, caught behind for a nine-ball duck – the other four were all taken by the slips. His figures now are 7-5-3-5 and that is the 51st time he has taken five or more wickets in a first-class innings.
Just shows how the game has changed, as Jimmy has taken more test wickets then county wickets.
He will most likely be the last player to reach 1000 first class wickets with the way the game is going and of course he had to do it against my county.
