Week 163 – April 29th – Middlesex v Kent – Part 1
Finally got to go and see some cricket today, as the weather was decent and no rail strikes too.
We went up to Lords today, for the third day of the county championship between Middlesex and Kent. Only certain parts of the ground are open, which I find strange.
Kent were batting in their second innings and trying to save the match, could they?

Lords pavilion in all its glory.
Father Time looking around.
Claire took this picture of Ben Compton playing a forward defensive in the 1st over of the day. Well done her. -
Week 159 – March 31st – ICC survey
This afternoon, I took part in an ICC survey, which appears to be about selecting logos for a cricket world cup.
I must admit I thought one of the logos was a bit sexist, well see what they use.

Week 156 – March 9th – ESPNcricinfo
After several emails to the contact I had at cricinfo and no responses.
Today I decided to write to the editor of the website and see if I would get any feedback.
What do you reckon?

Week 154 – February 23rd – Ashes competition
Still trying to get tickets for this year’s Ashes test series.
Enter a competition this evening, so keep your fingers cross. 😀

Week 148 – January 10th – Missed out again
This afternoon I got an email from the KIA Oval that I had missed out on getting tickets for the Ashes match there.
The email said there had been over 1.1 million ticket requests. Who says test cricket is dying.
Looks like I’ll just be watching the highlights.

Week 147 – January 5th – Kent membership
I had been thinking of becoming a Kent cricket member again this year, but when I looked closely at the fixture list, it was crazy.
The 13th July is the last HOME day, if the match goes to the 4th day of a county championship match until the first day of a new match on September 10th. That’s ridiculous in my eyes. So for nearly 50 days of the summer months there is no county championship cricket in Kent.
The only home games you will be able see are the one day games, all because of a competition that is played nowhere else in the world.
I’ve finished my rant.

Week 144 – December 13th – Survey time
This afternoon I did an England cricket supporter survey regarding merchandise.
Interesting to see what they think items should be charged at.

Week 142 – November 28th – 300%
This evening I found out that I didn’t get tickets for the Ashes test at Lords.
It appears they were oversubscribed by nearly 300%.
Though all other internationals at Lords for next year are available, just shows how popular the Ashes series is, even though the tickets are dearest of all matches available.

Week 141 – November 22nd – ICC survey
Today I did a survey for the ICC regarding sponsorship, which I thought was a strange subject.
Maybe there not happy with there sponsors?
