Week 198 – Dec 28th – The Ivy restaurant – Part 1
Today as a Christmas treat, we had booked to go to the Ivy restaurant for the polar bear Christmas lunch.

Week 198 – Dec 27th – New washing machine
Now back home, we visited Currys to try and take advantage of the after Christmas deals to get a new washing machine, as our machine the drum had come loose. I must admit the deals weren’t great.
This was the machine we chose and it will be delivered in two days’ time, which we weren’t expecting.

Week 197 – Dec 24th – Christmas Eve
We were down at Claire’s dad for Christmas and for a change we decided to have an Indian meal, which had been brought from Marks and Spencer, (nice bit of money they earned from us).
Very enjoyable.

Week 197 – Dec 23rd – Christmas Food
This evening we picked up the Christmas food from Marks and Spencer. As always, it was well organised, but you could see the cost of living was coming home as there was only three of us in the queue, where normally it was like if you were at a Disney park, snaking back and forward.
Hopefully it will taste as great as it looks.
I think we should be OK for Christmas and New Year. -
Week 196 – Dec 17th – Christmas practice
A warm up for Christmas dinner next week, we had a practice tonight.
Just missing the turkey lol.

This late afternoon, we took a train and tube up to Battersea.
The tube was heaving for going to Battersea Power Station, never been before by tube, as this a newish station. The station is massive.

Week 194 – Dec 3rd – Christmas decorations up
As its December, we decided to put the Christmas tree and decorations up.
Can you see what’s missing from the Christmas tree?
Christmas tree in all its splendour. Our special Father Christmas as already delivered present under the tree. Helps to have hot line to the top man.
