The weather had improved after the snow and we wanted to get out.
After searching around, I said lets go to Bushy Park, never been and it was just over 20 miles away. Didn’t realise it was that close.
It’s the second largest royal park and the car park is free, that makes a change.

Week 154 – February 26th – London – Part 1
Today we drove up to Battersea Park for some fresh air and a walk.
After parking up, we had just reached Chelsea Bridge, when I realised that I had left my phone in the car and the phone was unlocked. Leaving Claire at the bridge I walked back to car and thankfully nothing had happened.
I’m sure Claire must have been tracking me, as she messaged me virtually as I got back to the car.
All those wasted non recorded steps 🤣

Union flag flying above Buckingham Palace. This was the 1st time we had been to Buckingham Palace since King Charles III was on the throne.
Even though the weather wasn’t great, there was still many people around.

Week 152 – February 11th – Biggin Hill – Part 4
Final pictures from today’s visit.
A new hotel is being built for the airport. Should be open this spring.
Looking across to the new hotel “The Landing” at Biggin Hill airport Just opposite the café and new hotel, is a formula 1 technology centre.
Somewhere around the airport is meant to be home to Bernie Ecclestone car museum, but you’re not allowed in.
