In a recent post, I mentioned that the cost to fill up a car with petrol hit £100.
Today, I had the pleasure of doing that myself, with a 1 litre of fuel costing £1.91, easily went passed the £100 mark to fill the car up.
When will this end?
I was sitting in the dining room and could hear a lot of noise in the garden.
Manage to capture two magpies sitting together on the fence.

Claire had a hospital appointment today.
Whilst waiting for her, I took this picture of a tree in the grounds on a glorious day in England.

As mentioned in previous postings, we seemed too have done really well with the planting this spring and summer.
Rose bush flowering well.

On the way back, we decided to go to Ruxley garden centre for some lunch.
To refresh myself, I had a strawberry lemonade in this quaint glass.

We decided to go up to Greenwich again for a walk in the park and by the Thames.
Never seen the river Thames so high.
Compare this picture to the one I took in early May. (see earlier post in blog)

Yesterday we went to a coffee shop for a coffee with our reusable cups and you get extra rewards for doing this.
During the day I checked and noticed I hadn’t been correctly rewarded.
So I filled in a form and today I had a response from the customer service and was given double points.
Always good to check and follow up
For the first time in this country to fuel a petrol car up, cost over £100.
It’s just ridiculous how everything has gone up in the last few months.
Something has to give as the cost of living is just spiraling out of control!!
