So as requested after my hospital visit, I raised an eConsult to have a call with my doctor regarding my leg and foot.
After the call, I was actually asked to come to the surgery next week, which during COVID19 times is very rare.

New Year and 100 posts up and what timing. It’s my birthday week.
Thank you as always to my lovely wife Claire for arranging this and also for letting me retire.❤
It’s been a strange year, knowing that at the start I would be made redundant in 60 days’ time after 21 years plus service (21 years, 1 month and 11 days to be precise).
Feeling quite depressed about it, yes leap year day, very apt, what was I leaping into, then in less a month time, were in Covid19 lockdown!!
But nearly 7 months on, I feel like a new man, I can actually do DIY, the mortgage is paid off, back playing cricket (shame not bowling) chatting with my local MP and keeping my wife happy as she gets used to working from home. ? More to come,

Yes it’s the first full week of September and we purchased a Father Christmas at Polhill. When we got to the queue for the till, the shop assistant had said she had been trying to work what we were carrying when she saw us approaching. ?

Thou Claire likes her bench, she wanted to sit on the garden now and again to catch the sun, so she decided to get this beany bag seat :}

I thought I would give a try too.

Claire enjoying her new bench.

My retirement wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for my lovely wife Claire.
Here relaxing on the patio, of course with the IPhone. 🙂

Yes a haircut, first since February. Felt so much better after having the mop cut. Especially in the good weather we were having.
The release, finally my redundancy money appears in my account.
Well someone feel at home in our harbour lol.
Please ignore the state of the garage and garden, once lockdown is over.
We’re having someone come in and sorting it out!!

So Claire started working from home, this location wasn’t to last long lol, soon it was the dining room – again we didn’t know what would happen later in the year or what I could actually do
.
Thankfully the English weather was actually being kind to us in lockdown, so could have breakfast and relax outside and for you American friends, yes it’s a Dolphin top, actually purchased in 1997 and can still wear it!!
Patio needs a bit of tidy up, relaying some of the slabs concrete, were see if we can get someone in to do that?
