Thankfully no issues with the car for this appointment.
First eye test free because of being over 60 but still had to pay for the extra tests.
Everything went well and no new lenses were required, so not an expensive start to the year.

On this month survey, I could finally say that I have an appointment regarding my SVT, though still not great communication regarding the issue.
I was quite surprised to get this appointment so soon, as I only contact the NHS last week.
After seeing the consultant twice, once before the X-Ray, and then after, he was happy that fracture was healing OK, though he did say that it may never fully heal.
He would only be concerned if I was still in pain in September, a year after the injury happened. They said it was most likely the muscle just rebuilding itself back.

Wasn’t expecting the snow, thankfully no impact on the journey.
When I woke up this morning, my throat was burning and it was very sore. Identical to back in June 2025.
From that experience, I went to our pharmacy, I knew the regular chemist was off, so saw there stand in.
Once again, my blog came to my recuse and knowledge of the world and cricket, as it took quite a while to convince this person to give me the same antibiotics that I had last year.
In the end they prescribed me the phenoxymethylpenicillin potassium antibiotics.
This afternoon, I had a follow up regarding the right collarbone that I fractured back in September.
The physiotherapist was happy with the movement of the right arm and shoulder.
They agreed with me, that they didn’t think I should be in as much pain, when just sitting down and said that I should try to see the consultant and have another X-Ray to see how everything was going.
Nothing really to mention apart from the waiting time on my SVT appointment.
I mentioned that I wasn’t happy with no update or information regarding my SVT issue.
This morning, I had the flu jab. Hopefully this will prevent me from having anything serious over the winter.
Following my fractured right collarbone, I had my first physical therapy appointment at a hospital in Beckenham.
Most of the time the appointment was taken up by answering questions about the injury and how I was doing.
The small part of therapy the consultant was happy with the movement that I had and gave me exercises to do.
Mainly recording about the lack of update regarding my vascular waiting list appointment. Have no idea what is going on.
