After chasing the hospital regarding my earlier email, I finally got a response this afternoon from the doctor regarding taking of the medication.
“As symptoms (swelling) have been stable /resolved lately, kindly try to slowly wean and stop Fexofenadine
If you are on Fexofenadine 1 tablet daily, reduce to alternate day in the first instance and continue for 6-8 weeks, and then stop. You can restart if symptoms re appear in future.”
Let’s see what happens with reducing the medication.
