Holiday, trips and events
Today we went to the West Malling farmer market and Manor Country Park.
This was the first time to the market since Covid19 hit, unfortunately the number of stalls had greatly reduced, so another fallout from the pandemic.

We decided to go up to Greenwich again for a walk in the park and by the Thames.
Never seen the river Thames so high.
Compare this picture to the one I took in early May. (see earlier post in blog)

As the weather improved today, we decided to go to Farnborough, but there was nowhere to park, unless you were willing to pay.
So I drove to High Elm Country Park, here the car park was free.
Haven’t been here for at least 30 years, but it hasn’t changed that much in all that time.
Good to get out for a walk and fresh air.
Finally this week we got to the Lookout café at Biggin Hill.
It had been closed down during the pandemic as it was used as a Covid19 testing centre.
Unfortunately none of the staff were still there, but still provided good food and service, and a great place to watch aircraft land and go.
Took some pictures of the various aircraft there.

This afternoon, we went and saw the new Top Gun movie.
We were in recliner seats, but they wouldn’t recliner, after getting a member of the staff, it appears that the power had somehow come disconnected for our seats. Thankfully all sorted before the film started.
How does Tom Cruise stay looking so young?
We both enjoyed the film and would recommend it to be seen.
Today we visited Goring by Sea and Worthing for the 1st time.
Makes a change being able to park up and not have to pay.
Nice walk by the beach from Goring by Sea to nearly Worthing Pier.
Good lunch at a café at Goring by Sea that my parents had recommended.

Some more pictures from the walk.
