This afternoon I get a phone call from the doctors, saying I need to have an urgent blood test done at the hospital as my potassium was showing a reading of 6, which is high. This was from the blood test I had done on the 7th February.
They said go to the hospital now and say it’s for an urgent blood test.
I get to the hospital and there is nowhere to park, this is due to some work going on in the car park, I drive around, but can’t find spaces in any other car park, so find a side road to park in and walk to the blood test centre.
There I get told, that I need a form for the blood test, which the doctor never said, so I go back to the car and drive to the surgery, yes there was a form there with urgent on it. Why didn’t they say?
So I go back, park in the same road, which was wise as the car park still full, and was allowed in.
The person who took my blood, actually took it out of my right hand, never had it done like that before, as they said the vein was good. Again I didn’t feel anything.
