Week 294 – October 26th – The Windmill gathering
Today we had a wonderful meal the The Windmill pub, just outside Sevenoaks.
It came about from my dad’s funeral, saw a cousin that I hadn’t seen for a long time.
As previously the food was excellent, and considering the group, it all came up hot.
The service was great too and would recommend if you want to meet people.
Everyone enjoyed and looked forward to doing it again.

Mainly recording about the lack of update regarding my vascular waiting list appointment. Have no idea what is going on.

Week 293 – October 15th – Surrey Member
Today, thanks to Claire, I became a member of Surrey cricket club. Hopefully next year the weather will be as good, so can I watch some decent cricket.

Week 292 – October 10th – Evening with Jack
This evening, Claire’s godson Jack came around for a chat and meal.
He’s doing well with his Master’s degree and training the students too.
Most of what he was talking about went over both our heads.

Week 292 – October 6th – Fracture clinic
This afternoon, I had a follow up appointment regarding my fractured right collarbone.
After having the X-rays done, the consultant was happy with the progress of the collarbone.
He was going to arrange for me to have physiotherapy to help the collarbone heal.

Week 291 – October 5th – Bar Remo and the theatre part 2

my pizza and Italian bread.
yummy tiramisu
Great evening listening to Freddie Then we went to the Victoria Place theatre and saw Andrew Flintoff talk show. This was a treat by Claire, had excellent seats and it was a lovely evening. Got his new book as part of the show.
Didn’t realise how much he didn’t get on with Ricky Ponting.
Also sounds like the English dressing room wasn’t welcoming back then either.
The evening was slightly spoiled by some people trespassing on the railway lines, so we got home later than expected.
